THE VOID

The air that enveloped her skin was light and had a steady slow flow in comparison with that which was flowing on the large blanket of grass spread on the unevenly continuous land. She felt that the air in her presence was burdened not only from the thick scent of volumes of nectar which the yellow flowers from the local trees pour in but also by the transpiration of sweat filters spread all over her body. Colored patches of her clothing reminded her not her poverty but the land surrounding her which had more naked spots for very specific periods of the year; it was completely nude, out of grass for the rest. Her thought flow was never steady, similar to the sloshing motion of all the fluids. Individual thoughts with infinitesimal lifetimes born out of her brain filled with energy which she borrowed from the local lifeforms were untouched, expressed in their purest of forms resembling the blazing flames of fire fueled by the life energy of the grass, which her eyes witnessed with serenity. The light from the sky full of stars she thought was not in full intensity, similar to the potential of this meat machine.
As gravity pulled her down, she lay flat onthe moist grass. A strange feeling sprouted out of her heart which exploded in her face, resulting in a smile light and cool. The place filled her void with unbounded happiness. She felt complete in her own sense when she was here. The feeling must be mutual she thought, her absence here also created a void. The place needed her in its own sense.
